Devoted Duo

Let me introduce you to my wonderful husband Jared and I'm Jodi, and together we are the Secrets! We have been married for 13 years and together for 17 years. Jared is a Pastor and I have been a stay at home Mom for the majority of our marriage up until June 2017 when decided to put my college degree to use. I have decided to go back to college to get my Master's Degree so I'm a stay at home Mom again/college student!

We have three wonderful children and we spend most of our free time with them. Most parents like to get away and have some free time together, but we just enjoy spending it with the children. I guess maybe it's because we know how fast they grow up and we want to take advantage of every precious moment. We do like to have date nights or even lunch dates but between work, school activities, and life itself, we don't get much time with the kids.  So what little time we do get, we make sure it is with them.  

I love being able to devote myself to my husband and children at all times. I don't take it for granted because I know how hard it is these days to survive with only one person in the household working but we manage without all the luxuries in life because we have each other. And in my opinion that is the best luxury to have. We are pretty simple people who live our lives for Christ. We have become a Devoted Duo and grown together because of our love for our Lord. Just like any couple we have had our ups and downs but each year just keeps getting better and better. Well that's about it!
